How many times, due to trials and difficulties, do we think that God has forgotten us? We think that He has abandoned us and that He no longer remembers us. But the truth is that He continues to help us. Let us see what the Bible says:

''Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Even if she forgets him, yet will I not forget you.'' Isaiah 49:15

The text makes it clear that even if a mother forgets her child while she is still in the womb, God will not forget us. This is a reason to rejoice before God. Even if everyone turns against us (friends like Job and family like Joseph), we have refuge in God. Let's look at another Bible verse:

"For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have shown for his name" Hebrews 6:10

In other words, God not only does not forget us, but he also does not forget the service we have done for him. The people you have helped, the souls you have won for Christ, the prayers you have said, the visits you have made to people in need, the good things you have taught everyone, the times you have preached the gospel and everything else you have done will be rewarded by God in this world and in the next. May God renew your strength.

May no type of negative thought prevent you from continuing to have faith in God. The same God who worked in the past is the same one who works today. You just have to believe that he is still with you and obey his commandments and you will see that he is still working in your life.
